My Flash Drive is Faster than Yours

Today is Saturday, and time for another installment of "Ridiculous Products". Actually, it has nothing to do with Saturday since I don't do these in any predictable intervals--nor do I plan to. Anyway, today's ridiculous product is the:

SanDisk Extreme Ducati USB Flash DriveSanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition USB Flash Drive This baby is truly a wonder to behold, According to SanDisk, This is: "For gadget gurus, design aficionados, and “Ducatistis” (Ducati loyalists)" Ducatistis? How do you pronounce that? Doo-Cawt-eest-ees? It's almost like there are too many syllables... I'm confused. Then again perhaps it's my waning, middle-class grasp on the English language that is preventing me from owning a real Ducati... Whatever the case, SanDisk is quick to point out the fact that, And I quote: "Acquiring this gorgeous little device may be as close as you get to owning a Ducati cycle." Do you know why I buy pretentious SanDisk products? Because I love the feeling of paying $99.99, waiting a week, picking up the box from my doorstep, opening the box and pulling out from amongst the peanuts my own 4Gb effigy of a status symbol I will probably never own... Warms my heart. What I don't understand is the link between a motorcycle and a flash drive. I know it's the fastest flash drive that SanDisk carries at a 20 Mb/s transfer-rate, (which is actually, pretty impressive) and Ducati makes some fast bikes but that's pretty much where the functional similarities end. All this ridiculousness has inspired me (as ridiculousness often does) to channel all my energy into a brooding 3hr-long photoshop (Gimp to be precise) session in which I usually uncover far too many of my own shortcomings and my photoshop suckieness. This particular session ended with this:
